This 5 day course provides participants with a comprehensive overview of the oil and gas law issues within the global energy business. Beginning with a general description of the constitutional and legal regimes that govern oil and gas, attendees will learn about the key principles of the laws and host government contracts that regulate oil and gas activities. This will include a section that describes the economic terms related to oil and gas fiscal systems. After developing an understanding of the terms under which private organisations can conduct oil and gas development, the course will review the agreements that are entered into by private organisations for the joint development, processing and marketing of oil and gas. |
