The Board of Venture Production plc announces the appointment of Peter Turner as Finance Director of the Company in place of Marie-Louise Clayton who tendered her resignation on 9 May 2007 and will be leaving the Company on 31 December 2007. Peter will be joining the Company on 19 November 2007 and will be appointed to the Board on 6 December 2007.
Peter was previously at The BOC Group plc, the worldwide industrial gases, vacuum and distribution services company, prior to its acquisition by Linde AG earlier this year. He held a number of senior financial positions including Director of Taxation and Treasury and Finance Director of the Industrial and Special Products division.
Peter qualified as a chartered accountant whilst working at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has a degree in chemistry from Oxford University.
