HELLENIC PETROLEUM
The
objective of HELLENIC PETROLEUM, through its co-operation with international
petroleum companies, is to guarantee the existence of hydrocarbons that will
cover the company’s refinery capacity.
The Group operates abroad, through joint ventures, for exploration in three
areas in Albania,
with the Austrian company OMV and in six on-shore regions in Libya with the
Australian company WOODSIDE ENERGY and Spanish REPSOL, where the Group has set
up local offices to facilitate direct project management.
HELLENIC PETROLEUM S.A. holds exclusive rights over 62,000 sq. km. in Greece for
hydrocarbon exploitation and production, in the framework of law 2289/95.
