ATP Oil & Gas Corporation announces George R. Morris has joined the company as its Vice President of Acquisitions.

Mr. Morris brings over 30 years experience in acquisitions, exploration and production of oil and gas reservoirs in the shallow and deepwater Gulf of Mexico as well as Southern Louisiana Gulf Coast, East and
West Texas. Prior to joining ATP, Mr. Morris was COO at Chroma Exploration & Production, and held high level positions at Burlington Resources, Louisiana Land and Exploration, Nerco Oil & Gas and Union Texas Petroleum. Through the use of equity capital he was instrumental in the development of a successful startup E&P company focused in the Gulf Coast area. Earlier in his career he was active in a Deepwater Task Force charged to establish technical expertise, technologies, operating philosophy and economics in deepwater exploitation and development. He is a mechanical engineering graduate of Colorado State University and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas.

"Mr. Morris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the ATP team," said ATP Chairman and President T. Paul Bulmahn. "He will be a tremendous asset as we aggressively move the company forward with additions to our already robust project portfolio."
