Chevron Shuts Down 90,000 bpd Production in Nigeria
Chevron shuts down around 90,000 barrels per day of oil production on Tuesday at its Nigerian joint venture following an attack on one of its pipelines last Friday. "Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) confirms that one of its pipelines was breached and its onshore production was shut in in Delta state on Friday, November 14," the company said. "Repair plans are being prepared and it would be premature to estimate completion time," it said in a statement.
