South Africa’s Pump Prices to Rise

South Africa’s Department of Minerals and Energy announced that pump prices for 91, 93, and 95 octane fuel, as well as paraffin, will increase by next Wednesday, and diesel will shed its price.

The 91 octane fuel will increase by five cents per liter, 93 octane by six cents per liter, and 95 octane by eight cents per liter. Wholesale paraffin is set to increase by three cents, and retail paraffin will sell for four cents more per liter. Wholesale diesel will drop 17 cents per liter. No details were given on why the prices were being increased.
