Burren Energy Sees Positive Results from Congo Program

Burren reports positive results of the 3 latest development wells on the M'Boundi field completed during October 2005.

MBD 1902                    Central infill                       3,500 bopd

These wells will be placed on production during November.

A fourth well, MBD 1803 located on the southeast perimeter of the field, has not yet been tested in the Vandji reservoir, and is awaiting testing to evaluate the potential of a possible secondary reservoir encountered by the well.
