On 30 January, delegates have the unique opportunity to visit the newly
opened Haidach Underground Gas Storage Facility.
The facility represents an investment by Gazprom Export, WINGAS and
Rohoel AG of €250 million and doubles Austria’s gas storage facilities.
Haidach boasts a massive capability of 2.4 billion cubic metres of
natural gas storage and represents around 25% of the country’s total
annual gas demand.
