NOC Libya Chairman Talks Energy Cooperation With Tunisia

Dr. Shokri Ghanem, NOC Libya Chairman, met  in Tunis with Mr. Mohammad El-Ghanoushi, the Tunisian Prime Minister. 

The meeting discussed the existing mutual power projects, which include installing a gas pipeline between Libya and Tunisia, as well as the possibility of Libya’s participation in the Sakhera Refinery Project, which will begin work in 2011 with a total capacity of 120,000 b/d. 

Dr. Ghanem also attended meetings of the General Assemblies of the Libyan Tunisian Joint Oil Company, the Libyan Tunisian Joint Gas Company and the Arabic Petroleum Services Company.
