Algerian Oil Output Reached 1.42 mbd in June

06-28-2007

Algeria and Iran have raised their oil production capacities, while the Organization of Oil Producing Countries OPEC’s production has risen in June. Algeria oil production reached its climax exceeding 1.4 million barrel a day.

OPEC has recorded an increase in its overall production, after an increase has been recorded in demand on Algerian and Iranian oil, and the latter’s doubled their oil exports.

In this respect, Algeria oil production reached in June 1.42 million barrel a day, an increase estimated at 10% daily, whereas Iran’s production was increased by 50 thousand barrel a day to reach 3.90 million barrel a day.

This increase is owed to the significantly increasing demand on Algeria and Iran light oil in addition to all oil by-products Algeria exports.
