NOC Libya Officials meet Presidents of ExxonMobil & Baker Hughes

Dr. Shokri Ghanem, Chairman of NOC, held a meeting  with the President of ExxonMobil, Mr. Ross Blas, along with Mr. Phil Goss, President & General Manager of ExxonMobil – Libya. 

Discussions covered prospective co-operation between NOC and ExxonMobil, as well as the company’s activities in Libya.

Another meeting was also held between Mr. Faraj Sa’eed, Under-Secretary of NOC and the President of Baker Hughes, Mr. Charles Woolley.  The meeting was also attended by a number of experts from both parties. 

Mr. Woolley gave a presentation on the company’s activities in Libya and explained its future plans for expanding as a holding company, which activities are performed through a group of international operating companies. 

Mr. Sa’eed expressed the importance of the company’s support for technical oil operations and urged it to find a partner from the national private sector in accordance with Decision No. 443, issued by the General People’s Committee.
