T-3 Energy Services Receives Orders For Pressure Control Systems

T-3 Energy Services has received a letter of intent for the purchase of two packaged pressure control systems to be included on new jackup rigs that will work in West Africa. The order is the largest T-3 has received since entering the pressure control products market.

The initial commitment is over US$12 million, but T-3 anticipates up to six more follow-up orders from the customer as additional drilling contracts are awarded. The order includes several pressure control drilling products including BOPs, choke and kill manifolds and hydraulic control systems.

T-3 Chairman, President and CEO Gus D. Halas said "This order, in conjunction with the Russian multiple rig package order already received, confirms that T-3 Energy has established a solid foothold in key drilling markets throughout the world."
