Sonatrach Makes Gas Discovery On Ahnet Block in Algeria

Sonatrach has made a new gas discovery with the Tirechoumine-2 well located on the Ahnet Block in the In Salah region of Algeria.

Gas was encountered in the Gedinnien Devonian reservoir and flowed at a rate of 2072 cubic meters per hour on a 32/64" choke at 349 psi.
