PetroVietnam Makes Oil Discoveries in Algeria

PetroVietnam Exploration and Production (PVEP), under the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), has found oil at BRS9 well on Bir Seba field, Lot 433a & 416b in Touggourt area, the Sahara Desert, Algeria.

Initial survey at the depth of 4,000 metres showed that the oil field can produce more than 5,000 barrels a day.
