Bheki Khumalo and Reiner Groh elected to serve on several Sasol boards

Sasol group general manager Bheki Khumalo who is in charge of government relations, corporate affairs and the BEE office, and Dr. Reiner Groh, general manager for Sasol's chemical businesses, have both been elected to serve on various Sasol boards. www.sasol.com
Khumalo will be joining the boards of Sasol Synfuels (Pty) Ltd, Sasol Gas Ltd, Sasol Mining (Pty) Ltd, and Sasol Polymers, a division of Sasol Chemical industries Ltd.
Groh has been appointed to the boards of Sasol Chemical Industries Ltd, Sasol Synfuels (Pty) Ltd, Sasol Olefins and Surfactants, Sasol Polymers, Sasol Solvents, Sasol Technology (Pty) Ltd, Sasol Chemical Holdings International (Pty) Ltd, Sasol Wax International AG, Chemcity (Pty) Ltd, Sasol Nitro, and Sasol Investment Company (Pty) Ltd.

Prior to his move to Sasol early this year, Bheki Khumalo was a senior executive with Siemens, having previously been spokesperson to President Thabo Mbeki for a number of years. Before that he had served in the same capacity with two successive Ministers of Education. These government posts gave him unique access to thinking and strategy in the public sector.
Khumalo and Groh said they were keenly looking forward to the immense new challenges that lay ahead of them. Both expressed their confidence in the enlightened and inclusive way that Sasol was approaching its growing domestic and global responsibilities.
